Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has emphasized the importance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a unified electoral system titled "One Nation, One Election." As per the plan, the five-year election cycle will be followed by five years of uninterrupted work. The report on "One Nation, One Election" prepared under the leadership of former President Ram Nath Kovind is set to be presented in Parliament soon.
