Los Angeles, Dec 10 (PTI): Singer M.I.A.has made a startling revelation about her time with Jay-Z's music label Roc Nation, claiming that the mogul suggested she undergo "plastic surgery" shortly after signing with the label in 2012.

The Paper Planes singer recalled their initial meeting and cited this conversation as evidence of Jay-Z's attitude towards vanity. M.I.A said that although she claimed not to be insecure due to her decision, it is astonishing that many women associated with Jay-Z underwent cosmetic procedures during their time with the label.

In a recent video shared by Livebitez, M.I.A emphasized how challenging perceptions are, citing numerous female companions of influential men who have undergone plastic surgeries.

Her departure from Roc Nation was reportedly announced in December 2013 after disputing over a trailer for her album's documentary. The incident that prompted her exit involved the removal of part of an edited promotional video clip.
