Lawyer Rams Mercedes Car into Kachori Shop in Delhi, Leaves Six Injured
In a shocking turn of events, the capital city witnessed another instance of reckless driving as a lawyer ran over six people with his speeding Mercedes car after intentionally crashing it into a Kachori shop at Fateh Kachori in Civil Lines area on Tuesday.
Eyewitnesses reported that Parag Maini, identified as the perpetrator, had deliberately crashed his vehicle into the shop, shattering glass and injuring multiple individuals, including children. Fortunately, six people were rescued with their lives, though they suffered slight injuries.
The Delhi police has taken Maini, a resident of Noida’s Sector 79, into custody immediately, with his car seized as part of the case. According to sources, a formal complaint was lodged against Maini under Sections 279 and 337 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which pertain specifically to rash riding and causing hurt by endangering life.
Law enforcement authorities have assured that they are working diligently to apprehend the culprit and initiate further investigations before handing over the report to the court. The incident has left the local community shaken, with calls being made for enhanced vigilance against driving crimes in the urban terrain of Delhi.
