Gandhi Extends Greetings on 75th Anniversary of India's Constitution

New Delhi: Lok Sabha leader of Opposition and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi extended greetings to the people of India on Tuesday, marking the 75th anniversary of the country's Constitution.

In a post on X, Gandhi wrote, saying that today marks "Happy Constitution Day for all of you." The Congress leader highlighted the core spirit of the Constitution, emphasizing that justice and equality should be provided to all, allowing every individual to live with self-respect.

"The Constitution is a powerful tool to protect the poorest and most vulnerable sections of our society," Gandhi stated. "The stronger it becomes, the stronger our nation will become." He also paid tribute to fighters, martyrs, and members of the Constituent Assembly who played a crucial role in protecting the idea of the Constitution.

Gandhi reiterated his resolve to defend and protect the Constitution, reiterating that on this special day, he is recalling his pledge to safeguard it. With this post, Gandhi joined various leaders across the political spectrum in extending greetings and paying tribute to the country's founding document on its 75th birthday.
