CBSE Announces Exam Schedule for Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2025

New Delhi, India - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the examination timetable for the Class 10 and 12 Board Exams for the academic year 2024-25. The exams are slated to begin on February 15, 2025, and will conclude on April 2, 2025. Practical examinations will start earlier, from January 1, 2025, with specific dates for winter-bound schools set between November 5, 2024, and December 5, 2024.

According to a recent CBSE notice, the detailed date sheet will be available on the official website, www.cbse.gov.in, by December 2024. This schedule will include subject-wise dates, timings, and other critical information necessary for students' preparation.

Exam Dates and Expected Participation- Class 10 and 12 Theory Exams: February 15 to April 2, 2025. - Class 10 and 12 Practical Exams: January 1, 2025 onwards.

This year, over 44 lakh students from approximately 8,000 schools within India and 26 schools abroad are expected to participate in these crucial exams.

Tentative Schedule for Class 10:- February 15: Rai, Gurung, Tamang, Sherpa, Painting. - February 16: Various vocational subjects. - February 26: English (Communicative), English (Language & Literature). - March 2: Science.

Tentative Schedule for Class 12:- February 15: Entrepreneurship, Kokborok, Capital Market Operation. - February 22: English elective, English Elective CBSE (Functional English), English core. - March 4: Physics. - March 9: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics.
