CBSE Announces Exam Schedule for 2025 Board Examinations
New Delhi - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the examination schedule for the 2025 Board Examinations for Classes 10 and 12. The theory examinations are set to commence on February 15, 2025, and will continue until April 2, 2025. Practical exams for the winter-bound schools will begin on November 5, 2024, and conclude by December 5, 2024, while for other schools, they will start from January 1, 2025.
Over 44 lakh students from more than 8,000 schools in India and 26 schools abroad are expected to participate in these examinations. This year, the CBSE has planned to make the date sheets available in PDF format on its official website, allowing students to plan their studies accordingly.

- Theory Exams: February 15 to April 2, 2025
- Practical Exams for Winter Schools: November 5 to December 5, 2024

The CBSE Class 10 exams will cover subjects ranging from languages like Hindi, English, and regional languages to specialized courses like AI and Electronics. Similarly, Class 12 exams will include a broad spectrum of subjects from the humanities, sciences, commerce, and various vocational courses.
