CBSE Announces Exam Dates for Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2025
New Delhi, October 2024 - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the examination schedule for the upcoming Class 10 and 12 board exams for the academic year 2024-25. According to the latest updates, the theory examinations for both classes are set to begin on February 15, 2025, and will continue until April 2, 2025.
The practical examinations are scheduled to commence from January 1, 2025, across all CBSE-affiliated schools. However, for schools in winter-bound regions, practical exams will be conducted earlier, starting November 5, 2024, and concluding by December 5, 2024.
This year, an estimated 4.4 million students from approximately 8,000 schools within India and 26 schools abroad are expected to participate in these board examinations. The detailed date sheets for both Class 10 and 12, which will include subject-wise exam dates and timings, are anticipated to be released by December 2024 on the official CBSE website at https://www.cbse.gov.in/.
