CBSE Announces Exam Dates for 2025 Board Exams

New Delhi, 12 October 2024 - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the schedule for the 2025 board examinations for Classes 10 and 12. The theory examinations for both classes are set to begin on February 15, 2025, and will continue until April 2, 2025, according to a statement issued today.

Examination Dates:- Theory Exams: February 15 to April 2, 2025 - Practical Exams: From January 1, 2025, with specific dates for winter-bound schools from November 5 to December 5, 2024.

The CBSE has outlined that over 44 lakh students from approximately 8,000 schools in India and 26 schools abroad will participate in these exams. The detailed date sheets for both Class 10 and Class 12 will be made available on the official CBSE website by December 2024.

Tentative Schedule Highlights:- Class 10: Subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and English will be spread across the examination period, with practicals starting earlier for certain schools. - Class 12: Key subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Economics, and Accountancy have been tentatively scheduled, with a focus on accommodating a wide range of vocational and elective subjects.
