YOUth To Shape Nation-Building Efforts: NC Aims to Nurture Potential of Young Minds

Nagrota, Jan 15: National Conference Additional General Secretary and former minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra has urged the students to contribute positively towards nation-building by strengthening unity and amity bonds. This message was conveyed by him during an event organized by Arun Pal, working president, National Conference Students Union (NCSU).

While addressing the event, Sadhotra emphasized that the students have a substantial role to play in preserving India's distinct ethos and vision for Jammu and Kashmir while striving for collective progress.

He warned that there are divisive forces which aim at disrupting social fabric by dividing communities along religious or communal lines. He stated that as torchbearers of progress, students must stand against such elements ensuring the idea of India, founded on secularism and inclusivity, remains intact.

Sadhotra expressed his party's commitment towards providing a conducive academic environment under Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's visionary leadership. The government will foster an atmosphere where students can excel and realize their full potential, he maintained.

Addressing the longstanding demand for a Degree College Building in Nagrota, Sadhotra assured that the issue would be raised with the concerned department.

The event saw participation of a large number of students joining National Conference Students Union. The newcomers included Deep Kumar Sharma, Chanchal Sharma, Jatin, Ashfaq Ahmed, and many more. Those present on this occasion were Tayub Rashid, Mussarat Malik, Sakib Kitchloo, Abdul Gani Teli OBC President, Rajesh Bakshi among others who are actively working towards party's agenda.

Speaking on its commitment to nurturing the potential of young minds that would build the nation and Jammu and Kashmir in future, Sadhotra added that his party takes pride in fostering unity and development through collective progress.
