Youth Showcase Talents in Competitions Organized by Stakeholders of Saintgits College of Engineering

Kottayam: In a vibrant display of academic and extracurricular prowess, students from school districts participated in the "November Rain 2024" - an event held at the campus of Saintgits College of Engineering, Kottayam, in collaboration with members of Kottayam Round Table #79 and Ladies Circle #48.

Taking place over several days last week, the competitions were designed to engage young minds across various disciplines. The lineup featured exciting contests like JAM (Just A Minute), a spelling bee, and a quiz contest - all well-orchestrated by a team of volunteers.

The results revealed some exceptional talents among local school students. Johan B. Philip from Believers Church Residential School, Thiruvalla, claimed the top prize in the Spelling Bee competition, while S Nandakishor took the winner's spot in the JAM contest at Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara.

However, a dynamic duo - Kiran Thomas Tison and R Nakul from Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Girinagar - dominated the quiz competition with impressive performances.

Beyond these competitions, "November Rain 2024" offered participants the chance to explore the college campus. Youngsters were able to gain insights into cutting-edge facilities like the 3D Printing Lab, FAB Lab, and projects in robotics such as E-Baja and M-Baja, thereby fostering a passion for innovation.

Organized as part of Saintgits College's 'Onmanorama Campus Reporter' initiative, this event aimed to create opportunities for aspiring students to nurture their potential through engaging interactions with college life.
