Youth Commission Organizes Free Multi-Speciality Health Checkup Camp in Jammu

JAMMU, Dec 22: A free multi-speciality health checkup camp was organized by the Youth Commission Diocese of Jammu-Srinagar in collaboration with SIBA Event Management & Innovations Cooperatives at St Mary’s Garrison Church, Gandhinagar, Jammu. The event provided medical services to underprivileged and marginal communities.

Bishop of Jammu-Srinagar Ivan Albert Pereira attended the event and hailed the dedicated team of doctors for their selfless service. Fr. Sebastian Nagthunkal presented saplings to the participating doctors from renowned hospitals in the region.

The multi-speciality health camp offered consultations across various medical fields, including General Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Physiotherapy, Eye Checkups, Dental Care, Oncology, Endocrinology, and General Checkups. The event also provided free medicines to those in need, ensuring that medical care was accessible to all.

The Youth Commission's Director Jafat Masih expressed gratitude to the participating doctors, youth volunteers, and healthcare professionals for their contributions. He also thanked Vikrant Dogra, Chairman of Jammu-Kashmir Dairy Cooperative Federation (JKDCF), for his generous support.

This health camp is part of the Youth Commission's continued effort to uplift and serve underserved sections of society, ensuring that everyone has access to quality healthcare regardless of socio-economic background.
