YG Entertainment Asks BLACKPINK's Jisoo About Relationship During Unplanned Audition

Seoul (Jan 31): K-pop superstar and YG Entertainemnt signing, BLACKPINK's lead singer, Jisoo, revealed in an unexpected interview on Dex’s show, Fridge Interview, that during her infamous audition process, she was asked the question everyone wants to know; "Do you have a boyfriend".

Jisoo who initially applied to be an actress under YG Entertainment recounted how it all went down - starting from when she didn't know anything about the company until she actually joined in. The audition panel thought that fashion ring she happens to own on that particular day to be her relationship sign. The surprising part of her interview story unfolded when asked for relation, "Just a ring'.

Following her performance in which she sang 'I Have A Lover', Jisoo received an immediate call to report with the company to give training and here is where everything takes off – after the audition.

The group debuted under YG Entertainment in 2016 to shatter every single record possible from K-pop - changing their K-pop scene's destiny. And if fans thought that it was just her being part of BLACKPINK but only think again as Jisoo ventured into other entertainment field like acting too before and even breaking records for her album ME which surpasses over one million records including making history by selling the Best Album sales by female soloist in South Korea.

Jisoo is now known globally thanks to her work. Her journey started from that unplanned audition where YG saw something in her, despite initially signing as an actress, her career path took another turn she became a part of the phenomenal entertainment agency which made history for every K-pop group and artist by achieving global fame with one of its most popular groups.
