WHO Offers Student Internships in Administrative and Technical Areas
GENEVA, SWITZERLAND - The World Health Organization (WHO), an international health agency that operates under the United Nations, has announced its upcoming internship opportunities for students from around the world.
The WHO Internship Programme is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in various areas of public health, including human resources, communication, and external relations. Applicants will be able to find available internship positions on the WHO Careers site through the online recruitment system (Stellis).
Eligibility criteria for the programme includes being at least 20 years old, enrolled or recently graduated from a university program in relevant fields such as public health, medicine, social sciences, and language proficiency in at least one working language of the assigned office.
The WHO Internship Programme offers various benefits to eligible participants, including medical and accident insurance coverage, a living allowance for interns requiring financial support, and lunch vouchers at certified duty stations. The duration of the internship ranges from six weeks to 24 weeks, depending on the organization's needs.
