Veer Pahariya Meets Devayya Family, Actor Honors Mahavir Chakra Recipient's Inspiring Legacy

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 13 - Bollywood actor Veer Pahariya has recently met with the family of Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya, a renowned Mahavir Chakra recipient whose legacy inspired his character in the upcoming war film 'Sky Force'.

On Monday, Veer updated his Instagram account by sharing pictures with Mrs. Sundari Devayya, the 90-year-old wife of Squadron Leader Devayya, and their daughters, Smitha and Preetha, during a meeting in Bengaluru. The actor expressed his admiration for the family's inspiring legacy and shared a heartfelt caption about his experience.

For three and half years, Veer immersed himself in learning about the life and heroism of Squadron Leader Devayya while preparing for his role as "Tabby" in 'Sky Force'. However, hearing anecdotes from Devayya's family left him deeply moved and humbled.

'Sky Force' is set to release on January 24, 2025, just before Republic Day. The high-stakes thriller stars Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, and features Nimrat Kaur in a pivotal role. The film director is Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur.

Earlier this month, the song 'Maaye' from 'Sky Force' was released, showcasing the emotional ties of family amidst the passion of risking lives for the country.
