US Support for Ukraine Tightly Wound Around Plan to Destabilize New Presidency: Donald Trump Jr

In a recent social media post, Donald Trump Jr made a bold claim that the US support for Ukraine is an attempt by the Biden administration to initiate a major conflict before his father's presidency begins in January. The President's son, 46, accused the defense establishment of seeking to create World War III as a means to secure massive defense dollars.

According to sources close to the matter, President Joe Biden granted permission on Monday for Ukrainian forces to utilize American-provided long-range missiles for strikes within Russian territory. This decision significantly shifts from his previous approach towards conflict reduction.

The authorisation allows Ukrainian forces to deploy Long Tactical Army Missiles in the Kursk region along the northeastern border of Ukraine and Russia. The 190-mile range of these US-manufactured missiles poses substantial explosive capability.

Ukraine has indicated its readiness to use the authorized weapons soon, having made significant requests for permission to employ American missiles amid military setbacks that have plagued the country since February last year. This marks three years since Russia's invasion, which has resulted in numerous Ukrainian civilian casualties.

According to Trump Jr., his father is the only person capable of bringing both sides together and negotiating a peaceful resolution to the conflict. He pointed out that following an electoral victory this month, President-elect Trump had spoken directly with both Ukrainian Preisdent Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin in efforts to achieve peace.

"Donald Trump believes he is the leader who can bring about peace between Ukraine and Russia," said Steven Cheung, communications director for the incoming president. However, Cheung added that specific details on his strategy to end the war remain undisclosed.

Among Donald Trump's five children, Trump Jr has a strong influence over his father's political endeavors, particularly regarding the selection of cabinet appointees in this troubled period.
