Union MSME Launches Technology Centre in Gaya to Combat State Migration

GAYA: The Union Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) department has announced the launch of a technology centre in Gaya, with the aim of providing technical training and employment opportunities to over 1,000 youths. The main centre will be established at Gaya, while extension centres have been approved for Nalanda, Rohtas, Purnia, Darbhanga, and Saran.

Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has allocated Rs 125 crore for the centre, which is expected to play a crucial role in district development by fostering economic growth among the youth. Manjhi had also announced that the Union government would provide land for the construction of the technology centre at Gaya and that additional lands have been acquired at Nalanda, Rohtas, Purnia, Darbhanga, and Saran.

The Union MSME department has planned to set up extension centres in these districts to empower youths with technical skills for self-employment. The centres will also provide employment opportunities to trainees upon completion of the courses.

Chief spokesperson of HAM-S (Haribhakho Andolan Manch Samiti), Nandlal Manjhi, has confirmed that Union MSME Additional Development Commissioner RK Rai had written a letter requesting Bihar's Chief Secretary and Joint Director of MSME for land in Gaya amounting to approximately 20 acres. An agreement was reached by both parties.

An implementation meeting will be held on the last working day of current month to oversee project implementation.

For public awareness a massive mass rally would be take place at near Govind nagar where a large crowd gathered and gave there pledge and signed petition for development in Bihar state in near future. Government of Bihar also announce free ticket bus for all rural people.
