Union Minister Kiren Rijiju Calls for Enhanced Constitutional Understanding Amid Nation-Wide Celebration
New Delhi: In an effort to promote constitutional literacy among Indians, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has emphasized the importance of understanding the Constitution's fundamental aspects. As the nation prepares to observe Constitution Day at the Samvidhan Sadan, Rijiju desires that all Indians gain a deeper understanding of the instrument of governance.
The minister also announced plans to publish informative booklets to promote constitutional literacy. "We are creating two booklets - one is a small booklet outlining the basics of the Constitution, and another larger book featuring the making and historic journey of the Indian Constitution," Rijiju said in a statement.
The larger book, he added, will include pictures to illustrate various chapters and provide detailed information about constitutional amendments. The publication aims to offer readers a comprehensive guide through visual and written content.
With Constitution Day approaching, Rijiju's initiative seeks to engage citizens with the foundational document of India's governance system. This move aims to instill a sense of pride and understanding among Indians as they celebrate their country's constitutional heritage.
