Two-day Long Science, Technology Exhibition Begins in Mancherial
A two-day long science and technology exhibition titled Fusion Fest-2024 began on the premises of Carmel Convent High School in Mancherial. The event aimed to foster creativity, innovation, and environmental awareness among students.
The exhibition was formally inaugurated by District Science Officer S Madhu Babu, Bishop Joseph Kunnath, and Father Jose on Friday. According to Madhu Babu, the event helped bring out the creative ideas of students from the school. He praised the institution's management for hosting the event and setting a positive example for other schools in the district.
Bishop Joseph Kunnath commended the school's commitment to nurturing creativity and holistic growth. Father Jose mentioned that the team demonstrated exceptional dedication and teamwork in organizing the event. Principal Sister Rincy expressed her pride in the students and staff who worked together to make the exhibition a grand success. She reaffirmed the school's mission to promote excellence in academics and co-curricular activities.
The fest showcased various talents from students across different departments, including theatre performances by Telugu, music, and English departments. These shows combined cultural richness with modern themes, captivating the audience.
An exhibit titled 'Forest and Children highlighed the intricate bond between nature and the younger generation. The event featured creative models and thought-provoking displays capturing environmental awareness.
Several dignitaries attended the inaugural ceremony, including Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church, Sister Phinia, the first principal of the school, Mother Geo, President of Carmel Education Society.
