TUG CRASH AT CHICAGO O'HARE LEAVES DRIVER CRITICALLY INJURED

A devastating collision at Chicago O'Hare International Airport on Saturday has left a tug driver fighting for his life after a plane struck the aircraft tow vehicle, sending it into a disastrous flip.
The incident occurred around 7:35 p.m. local time, when an Air Wisconsin jet was on its way to a gate, and the United Airlines-operated tug was in the vicinity. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that the collision had resulted in the vehicle overturning, pinning the driver underneath.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the 64-year-old driver sustained severe head and lower-body injuries in the accident. He was rushed to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where medical staff worked tirelessly to stabilize him, but the extent of his injuries remains critical.
The man was reportedly operating the tug at the time of the collision, which is operated by United Airlines on behalf of other airlines that require ground handling services.
United Airlines issued a statement expressing their concern for the driver's well-being and assuring the public that they are providing any necessary support to the injured individual. The FAA and local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the cause and ensure similar accidents do not occur in the future.
