Trump Unveils First Wave of High-Profile Administration picks

NASHVILLE, USA - As the dust settles on Donald Trump's highly contested US presidential election, the outgoing incumbent has begun to unveil his first wave of high-profile administration picks.

Among those announced are billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk, who is expected to take on a role within a new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), and Dr. Robert F Kennedy Jr, who will serve as a health policy advisor in the Trump White House.

Musk, known for his support of President Trump during the election campaign, may benefit from his close ties with the president by being handed significant power to slash through government bureaucracy - a key promise that Trump made while campaigning.

Kennedy, the son of Senator and presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy, was initially excluded from the running due to his vocal opposition to COVID-19 vaccination policies. However, he subsequently withdrew his own candidacy to support former President Trump, paving the way for him to secure a job within the administration.

Other significant appointments expected by the end of the month include Larry Kudlow, who served as director of the National Economic Council during Trump's first term and was later replaced by Mark Meadows.

Additionally, Fox Business host Larry Kudlow has strong ties with President Trump and could well become treasury secretary in this new administration.

It is also reported that the newly appointed advisors may face challenges when taking their posts, particularly Musk who as a private company executive will likely need to navigate around conflict of interests issues. The exact details for all candidates have not yet come out and some names such as Mike Pompeo, Tom Cotton and Bob Waltz among others are still awaiting news or public disclosure.
