Trump Unleashes Fury as Biden Authorises Ukraine Missiles Amid Conflict Escalation
Washington D.C., USA - Donald Trump Jr. has launched a scathing attack on the US administration's support for Ukraine, accusing it of attempting to initiate a major conflict before his father, President-elect Donald Trump, assumes office in January.
In a series of aggressive social media posts, Trump Jr., 46, claimed that the defense establishment is seeking to discredit his father's presidency by escalating tensions with Russia. The former president pointedly accused the military industrial complex of wanting to spark World War III before he can create peace and put an end to the bloodshed.
This comes as President Joe Biden, 81, has authorized Ukrainian forces to use American-provided long-range missiles for strikes within Russian territory. The move marks a significant shift from Biden's previous conflict-reduction strategies and allows Ukrainian forces to deploy US-manufactured Army Tactical Missile Systems in the Kursk region along the northeastern border.
The authorization grants Ukraine access to missiles with a range of approximately 190 miles, possessing substantial explosive capability. Following extended requests for permission to employ American missiles, Ukraine has indicated its readiness to utilize these newly authorized weapons.
February marks three years since Russia's invasion, which resulted in numerous Ukrainian civilian casualties. Trump, 78, has committed to ending the conflict after communicating with both Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin following his electoral victory this month.
"While President Trump has said on the campaign trail that he is the only person who can bring both sides together to negotiate peace and work towards ending the war and stopping the killing, we will make sure that peace and stability prevail," Steven Cheung, Trump's communications director, told The Post. However, specific details regarding his strategy remain unclear at this time.
As a member of Trump's inner circle, with significant influence in the transition team particularly regarding the selection of controversial cabinet appointments, Trump Jr.'s statements are being closely watched by observers and critics alike.
