TRUMP SETS SIGHT ON ADMINISTRATION TEAM AS HE PREPARES FOR SECOND TERM AS US PRESIDENT

In a move that marks an important milestone in the shaping of Mr Trump's second-term administration, Susie Wiles has been unveiled as the first member of his team to be announced.
Ms Wiles, a 67-year-old veteran Republican campaign manager, who was instrumental in Ronald Reagan and Ron DeSantis's election campaigns, has taken on the role of chief-of-staff - becoming the first female to hold this prestigious position in American history.
However her appointment comes amidst controversy as Ms Haley and Mike Pompeo have been excluded from Mr Trump's administration.
Ms Stefanik is believed to soon be appointed as US ambassador to the UN, replacing Nikki Haley who previously held this role.
Donald Trump has confirmed his intention to reward his supporters with various high-profile roles in his upcoming administration.
Among them are a billionaire, a health expert turned vaccine sceptic, and several others linked to the tech industry and private sector firms such as Amazon, Elon Musk's SpaceX, and the MLB (Major League Baseball).
The announcement of Mr Trump's team comes ahead of Inauguration Day on January 2024.
