Trump Jr Claims Biden Administration Pumps Up Tensions with Ukraine Support Ahead of Father's Presidency
Washington D.C., United States - In a recent post on social media, Donald Trump Jr accused the US President Joe Biden administration of orchestrating a plan to initiate a major conflict in Ukraine ahead of his father's presidency. The assertion comes as President Biden granted permission for Ukrainian forces to use American-provided long-range missiles for strikes within Russian territory.
The decision significantly shifts from previous strategies employed by President Biden, who has been focused on conflict reduction. Trump Jr, 46, posted that the defense establishment is trying to destabilize his father's presidency by escalating the conflict.
"The Military Industrial Complex seems to want to make sure they get World War 3 going before my father has a chance to create peace and save lives," he tweeted. "Gotta lock in those $Trillions. Life be damned!!! Imbeciles!"
President Biden's authorization allows Ukrainian forces to deploy US-manufactured Army Tactical Missile Systems in the Kursk region, which holds a strategic significance given its proximity to Russia's northeastern border.
This comes as Ukraine indicated its readiness to utilize the new authorized weapons shortly after extended requests for permission. The region has been a site of numerous civilian casualties over the past three years since Russia's invasion.
President-elect Donald Trump, 78, has expressed his resolve to bring both sides together and negotiate peace ahead of his inauguration. He has communicated with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin as part of efforts to conclude the war.
However, Trump Jr maintains significant influence in shaping his father's policies, particularly regarding cabinet appointments. The outgoing administration is now working on deploying these advanced weapons to Ukraine at a time when tensions between Russia and the West are increasingly soaring due to military setbacks faced by the Ukrainian forces.
