Trump Criticizes Biden Admin Over Ukraine Support

Washington D.C., December 18 - In a post on social media on Sunday, Donald Trump Jr accused the Biden administration of attempting to initiate a major conflict with Russia over Ukrainian support. The 46-year-old son and nephew of President-elect Donald Trump claimed that his father's potential presidency was being overshadowed by the escalating tensions.

On Monday, President Joe Biden granted permission for Ukraine to utilize American-provided long-range missiles to strike within Russian territory, marking a significant shift from his previous conflict-reduction strategies. This new authorization allows Ukrainian forces to deploy US-manufactured Army Tactical Missile Systems in the Kursk region along the northeastern border between the two nations.

Trump Jr suggested that the defense establishment's push for increased military spending and intervention was aimed at destabilizing his father's presidency, saying, "The Military Industrial Complex seems to want to make sure they get World War 3 going before my father has a chance to create peace and save lives." The tweet also included a comment about the desire to spend trillions of dollars on defense, implying that politicians were prioritizing spending over life.

Ukraine had requested permission to use these missiles to counter military setbacks in February, three years after Russia's invasion, which has resulted in numerous civilian casualties. Trump Jr stated that his father committed to ending the conflict and has discussed negotiating peace with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

However, no specific details on his strategy have been released by the Transition team. The president-elect's children are also playing a significant role in the selection process for cabinet appointments. Trump Jr holds close ties to his family's political dealings and is reportedly heavily involved in the transition team.

This latest development highlights ongoing tensions between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States amid changing US leadership.
