"Trump Announces First Cabinet Picks as He Prepares for Second Term"

Washington D.C., U.S. - As the dust settles on Donald Trump's 2024 presidential election win, the president-elect has begun announcing key members of his second administration.
In a move that signals his commitment to revamping the executive branch, Mr. Trump declared on Wednesday that social media mogul Elon Musk will be taking over as head of the proposed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The department, an idea championed by Mr. Musk, aims to conduct a thorough financial and performance audit of the entire federal government.
Other notables among Mr. Trump's first cabinet picks include former presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr., who will be tasked with overseeing health policy in the White House.
Mr. Kennedy, a prominent vaccine sceptic, has been at odds with many members of his family over his views on vaccines and public health.
Also set to join the administration is billionaire Elon Musk's friend, Richard Grenell, a highly polarizing foreign policy expert who has supported Moscow-backed ideas such as establishing an autonomous zone in eastern Ukraine.
Additionally, Mr. Trump named Don Jr., Eric Trump, Lara Trump, and other high-profile figures in his family's orbit to senior advisory roles or potential positions within the administration.
However, it remains unclear which of his children - Don Jr, Eric, and Lara Trump - will serve in the Oval Office during a second term.
The White House did not comment on whether Ivanka Trump or Jared Kushner would return to politics following Mr. Trump's repeated denials of their involvement in an upcoming administration.
On Wednesday , Sky News confirmed that former Fox News host Larry Kudlow has been vetted by the Trump team as potential treasury secretary, along with billionaire hedge fund manager John Paulson and senator Marco Rubio, among other contenders for positions including Secretary of State position
