Trump Administration Takes Shape After Historic Win

As the dust settles on Donald Trump's US election win for a second stint in the White House, President-elect Trump has begun choosing who will fill key roles in his administration.
In a surprising move, Trump announced Susie Wiles as his new chief of staff, making her the first female to hold the position. A veteran campaign manager and former Republican Representative Pat Summerall's daughter, Wiles brings decades of experience in politics and the private sector. Her appointment is seen as a nod to the strong women's faction within the GOP.
Another notable appointment is US Ambassador to the UN, Elise Stefanik. Trump has reportedly offered her the job, praising her strength and skills as an "ice maiden" and a "killer."
On the other hand, two prominent figures are out of the running: Former Republican presidential contender Nikki Haley, who will not be returning to the administration after serving as ambassador to the UN; and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Both had been mentioned in reports about potential future roles within Trump's cabinet.
Two new faces also pop up as potential appointees to Trump's second administration. Robert F Kennedy Jr., a prominent vaccine skeptic, is slated for a role focusing on health policy, sparking controversy among his critics. Donor and billionaire John Paulson is being linked to becoming Treasury Secretary after serving in various capacities under the previous administration.
Several other names are also floating around as possibilities, including Marco Rubio for Secretary of State, Richard Grenell for National Security Adviser, Marco's running mate JD Vance still waiting at home to do final preparation Bob Menendez has been linked to being part of Trump's inner circle.
