Title: Only PM Modi, Trump, Putin, and China Matter on the World Forum, Says DLF Chairman Emeritus KP Singh
New Delhi: India is rapidly progressing and is poised to become the world's third largest economy after the United States of America and China in the next few years, says Kushal Pal Singh, Chairman Emeritus of DLF, the country's largest real estate developer.
In an exclusive interview with Moneycontrol, Singh praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that he is one of the four top leaders that matter at the world level. He believes India's leadership plays a key role in this transformation and has changed the country's image on a global level.
According to Singh, only these four leaders - Modi, Trump, Putin, and China's President Xi Jinping - matter on the world forum right now. This statement reflects the significant impact of India's growing economy under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
Singh also expressed his vision for India's future, saying that he envisions a rapidly growing and developing country over the next 50 years. He attributes this rapid growth to good government policies, talented entrepreneurs, and workers, in addition to Prime Minister Modi's dynamic personality.
The Chairman Emeritus has been instrumental in transforming the Indian real estate sector, with most old builders facing legal issues. Singh credits himself for having maintained a reputation of compliance and ethics, resulting in a great future for the new generation of developers.
Regarding India's current urban infrastructure, Singh emphasizes that it requires radical improvement, mainly due to poor planning and climate change. He calls upon Prime Minister Modi to take drastic measures to change this by conducting a quick study within two months, devising a master plan for urban infrastructure, and ultimately replacing short-term thinking with long-term planning.
Singh has consistently praised sustainable green building practices in real estate, highlighting DLF's commitment to such initiatives, which have earned them international recognition. He advises young entrepreneurs that they must follow strict compliance of laws, pay taxes honestly, test the market thoroughly, and never cut corners when entering the real estate sector.
Looking back on his legacy, Singh claims that winning over farmers' confidence to purchase land for large-scale development is his greatest achievement, marking a record in the world.
With this interview, KP Singh reinforces his vision for India's rapid progress as a global player, attributing it to the leadership of Modi and other key world leaders.
