Third World War Begins: Ukraine Conflict Escalates into Global Conflict, Says Former Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny
In a shocking claim, former Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny has stated that the ongoing Ukraine conflict has spiralled out of control, putting the world on the brink of a Third World War. According to Zaluzhny, the involvement of two superpowers, Russia and the US, in the conflict has led to the direct deployment of North Korean soldiers into Ukraine.
Speaking at an event, Zaluzhny cited several examples of international involvement in the conflict, including Iranian drones deliberately targeting civilians and the flow of North Korean and Chinese weapons into Ukraine. He also highlighted the fact that North Korean soldiers are now standing guard over Ukraine, implying a potentially catastrophic escalation.
"The Third World War has begun," Zaluzhny said. "Because in 2024, Ukraine is no longer facing Russia. Soldiers from North Korea are standing in front of Ukraine. Let's be honest." He also mentioned the presence of Iranian drones and missiles, which have been wreaking havoc on civilian populations without impunity.
Interestingly, Zaluzhny was recently dismissed from his military position due to disagreements with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy over war strategies. Despite this, he remains convinced that Russia can be stopped within Ukraine and is urging greater international support.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has fired back at critics of his country's actions in Ukraine, claiming that the US-backed air defenses will be unable to stop the new intermediate-range ballistic missile developed by Moscow. The Oreshnik missile, which translates to "hazelnut tree" in Russian, is said to fly at ten times the speed of sound and can be used to target any Ukrainian ally whose missiles attack Russia.
In a televised address to the nation, Putin warned that the US air defenses would be powerless against this new weapon, and promised to use it to exact revenge on Ukraine's allies.
The escalating tensions in Ukraine have left global leaders scrambling for answers. As one senior diplomat commented, "It seems like events are spiralling out of control. We'll need a collective solution swiftly to prevent catastrophe."
