The Post Lounge Unveils New Global Strategy with Five Key Appointments
In a move that signals its commitment to growth and innovation, leading post-production company The Post Lounge (TPL) and sibling company Orange Entertainment Co. (OEC) have announced five key appointments as part of their new global strategy.
According to Kurt Royan, Managing Director of TPL, the "creative first" approach is at the heart of the group's efforts to drive growth, commercial success, and operations. This strategic move aims to cement The Post Lounge's position as market leader in the global entertainment and media industry.
One of the key appointments made by TPL is Georgia Woodward, who joins the company as its newly created Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO, Woodward will drive strategic growth for both TPL and OEC, while also managing the group's operations. With over a decade of experience in driving growth through data and content strategy, Woodward is recognized as one of the top 30 influential individuals worldwide shaping the global content industry.
TPL has also welcomed Bronwyn Ketels to her newly created role as Head of Global Production. Recognized for her pivotal leadership roles in TV, branded content, and digital media, Ketels brings a wealth of experience to this position.
In addition, Dan Lake, co-founder and executive producer at OEC, will take on the role of General Manager for TPL's Sydney location. With key roles in TV and film finance, development, and production, including senior positions at prominent government funding bodies, Lake is confident in his ability to lead this new position.
To further enhance its color palette, TPL has appointed acclaimed industry colourist Brett Manson as Senior Colourist on a full-time basis. "Having collaborated with Brett on many projects, we knew that he was the right person to help take TPL's colour department to the next level," said Royan.
Other key appointments made by TPL include Marie Gatt, Margaux Hemard, Kale Elbourne, who were all promoted from internal junior colourist roles. Acclaimed sound designer Stuart Morton MPSE will continue as Head of Sound for the company.
TPL has also reaffirmed its strategic partnerships with VFX studio Resin and leading international post facility Company 3, allowing for seamless end-to-end workflows anywhere in the world.
According to Royan, "We're putting the right people in the right positions to enable the clearest path from production through to delivery, focussing on what matters most to directors and producers – prioritising the project creative, while ensuring we deliver to the highest standards, on time and on budget."
