Telangana Unveils Plan to Utilize Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Sector

Hyderabad, Telangana - A grand launch event was recently held by the Government of Telangana, where a comprehensive analysis on the immense potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in revolutionizing the healthcare sector of India was presented.

The highly attended 'AI in Healthcare Summit: Road to BioAsia 2025' gathering saw key dignitaries of the government, including Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Minister of Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana, speak on the significance of AI advancements in the healthcare sector. According to Minister Babu, "Artificial Intelligence is one of the most significant technological breakthroughs of our time... From revolutionizing drug discovery and diagnostics to enhancing patient care and safety, AI advancements represent a fundamental shift toward a more efficient, accessible, and patient-centered healthcare ecosystem."

During the summit, Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, Department of Commerce and Industries, pointed out that AI-driven advancements are having a notable impact across the country, especially at grassroots levels, in ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare for all. Mr. Ranjan emphasized, “We are crafting AI solutions that are relevant and effective... The AI in Healthcare Summit serves as a platform to exchange ideas, explore collaborations, and drive forward our collective vision of an AI-powered healthcare ecosystem."
