Teenager's Family Held Suspects in Dagga Murah Case

Three members of a boy's family including his father were seized by the police on Thursday for allegedly slaughtering a 17-year-old youth as they suspected him of having an affair with her, it was stated.

Ganesh Tande (17) was pounded up severely in the initial hours of Thursday in Wagholi area, resulting in his demise, said a senior official. "He was acquaintance with Laxman Petkar's daughter. They used to chat daily. The Petkar family was opposed to their friendship and made a plan to kill him," he said.

The police arrested Dhananjay Tande alias Lalla Ganesh's father along with his brother Dhanu Tande and cousin Virendra Tande on charges of murder, said the police official.
