New Delhi (PTI): Despite the emergence of geopolitical shifts in the tech landscape, Nasscom chairperson Sindhu Gangadharan has predicted that technology adoption and strategic partnerships will be crucial for businesses in 2025. According to Gangadharan, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an enabler that can boost productivity and skills.
In her assessment, AI needs to be seen as a transformative technology that can empower individuals and businesses to drive change and tackle challenges. Gangadharan emphasized the importance of partnerships, stating that they play out in today's context when it comes to large language models that are common across industries.
The Nasscom chairperson highlighted India's prospects in 2025, citing its growing engineering talent pool and initiatives like digitalization as driving forces behind its tech adoption. With SAP Labs expanding its operations in the country, Gangadharan expects significant growth and increased hiring opportunities from Indian engineers.
India is poised to become one of the largest markets for SAP, with CEO Christian Klein stating that the company aims to "over proportionally" invest and hire in the country. The Indian market is currently among SAP's top 10 markets globally, and it expects rapid growth in sales and revenue.
As technology continues to evolve, Gangadharan's emphasis on partnerships and AI adoption underlines the importance of collaboration and forward-thinking approaches for businesses to thrive in an ever-changing landscape.
