Tamil Film 'Anjaamai' Set to Make OTT Debut, Released on October 29

Aha Tamil has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of the Tamil film "Anjaamai", featuring Vidharth, Rahman, and Vani Bhojan in leading roles. The movie is scheduled for release on October 29, 2024.

Based on real-life events, "Anjaamai" explores a rural family's struggles with the NEET examination system. Written and directed by SP Subburaman, the film has been produced by M Thirunavukarasu under the Thiruchithram Productions banner.

"For fans of Vidharth, 'Anjaamai' is an exciting journey into a complex issue like NEET," said an excited fan who wished to remain anonymous.

The movie follows the poignant narrative of Sarkar, played by Vidharth, a theatre artist turned flower farmer, as he sacrifices his passion to support his son Arundhavam's academic aspirations.

Cast of Anjaamai

Vidharth plays Sarkar, a theatre artist turned flower farmer, who sacrifices his passion to support his son Arundhavam's academic aspirations. Vani Bhojan and Rahman, respectively, bring forth an excellent performance in their roles. Krithik Mohan portrays the role of Rohith, the only boy from an impoverished family with excellent scholarship.
