The legal complaint filed on December 21 details Baldoni’s alleged ‘crisis management plan’ to discredit Blake Lively, which involved leveraging public perceptions of Swift's massive fanbase. A crisis expert working for Baldoni’s team noted that this strategy aimed to intensify the response to Lively’s allegations and turned minor issues into significant crises.

In a particularly notable development, email exchanges reviewed as part of the legal complaint showed Baldoni sharing a screenshot of a thread accusing Hailey Bieber of bullying women. He reportedly suggested this could serve as a model for their own tactics against Lively. Furthermore, Boldoni's team was also exploring the possibility of generating stories about the misuse of feminism, mentioning how figures like Taylor Swift have been criticized for allegedly using such tactics to manipulate situations.

The case, which Lively filed in November last year, accuses Baldoni and his production company APT Entertainment, Inc. of severe offenses including intrusive behaviors on set, unwanted kissing, showing pornographic materials, watching her naked, creating a hostile work environment, launching a smear campaign, and making lewd remarks about her appearance.

Following these revelations, Baldoni's talent agency WME dropped the actor, according to reports by Deadline although the agency has yet to provide an official confirmation. However, it is reported they still represent the actress.
