Bharat actor Sunil Grover turns 42 today. As the actor turns a year older, Sunil spills the beans on how he intends to celebrate his birthday and also recalls the celebrations last year with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Read on.

Birthdays are a special occasion for everyone. For Bollywood stars too, birthdays are special as many of their close ones express their love for them in a special way. Speaking of this, Bharat star Sunil Grover turns a year older today and is planning to celebrate it with his close friends in New York. The star of films like Pataakha and Bharat has had a stellar year as his performances in films have been appreciated. As Vilayti in Bharat, Sunil came across as the loyal friend that won the hearts of the audience. 

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sunil mentioned that he intends to celebrate his birthday with his close friends in New York. He even recalled that last year, he celebrated his birthday with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of Bharat. Sunil mentioned that every year, life brings him a gift on his birthday and he is expecting the same this year. But, as a gift to himself, the Bharat star got a piano. Sunil mentioned that he loves the sound of it and that he would learn to play it properly.

Not just this, Sunil even recalled how his mother used to make ‘gajar ka halwa’ for him on his birthday as a kid. He mentioned, “I remember, as we were vegetarians and couldn’t make an eggless cake, my mother used to make cakes of gajar ka halwa, gulab jamun cake, and many other creative ones. Though I did wish for the store bought cakes, I realise the effort my mother put into making the birthday special.” While the actor is already in New York, his fans surely would love to see him entertain them more in this coming year.

Sunil’s performance in Bharat has been widely appreciated. His role of Vilayti, Bharat’s loyal friend was a perfect mix of emotional and comic acting. His acting in Pataakha as Dipper made audiences laugh and feel angry at him at the same time. Over the years, Sunil has emerged from a comedian to an actor to a performer and fans love him in each role. Here’s wishing the star, Happy Birthday.
