SPACE FOR HUMANITY WISHES WELL-BEING TO BLUE ORIGIN AND EMBEDS SCIENCE COMMUNICATOR EMILY CALANDRELLI AS IT PREPARES FOR NS28 FLIGHT
Denver, Nov. 21, 2024 - Space for Humanity (S4H) is extensionally extending its warmest appreciation to Blue Origin and the entire crew of NS28 as they prepare for a successful and safe flight this Friday, November 22nd. The organization also wants to take this opportunity to express its special gratitude and support for science communicator Emily Calandrelli.
As the NS28 mission approaches, S4H Executive Director Antonio Peronace expressed his organization's profound admiration for Calandrelli's invaluable work as a science communicator. Peronace described Calandrelli as "a talented and impactful science communicator who tirelessly strives to deconstruct science and make it accessible to masses." He added that Space for Humanity holds high regard for her efforts in inspiring young people, especially those pursuing STEM fields and aspiring careers in space.
With her diverse background as a renowned engineer, author, television presenter, and NASA intern, Emily Calandrelli has established herself as an exceptionally skilled science communicator. Notably, she will be the 100th woman to witness our planet from outer space, an extraordinary milestone marked by her upcoming NS28 flight.
Calandrelli's comments on this historic occasion conveyed a sense of excitement and pride: "I'm incredibly excited to fly to space and witness our world from beyond its borders. This marks a significant endgame point in history." Peronace assured that once Calandrelli returns from the NS28 mission, she will join Space for Humanity's Overview Ambassador program as an official representative.
This ambitious goal is part of S4H's larger endeavor to grant space experience to its carefully selected citizens through their Citizen Astronaut Program. The organization is committed to enriching global perspectives by fostering a sense of unity among nations and promoting peaceful resolution through cooperation among the world's peoples.
