The legendary actor, who recently starred in the Rajkumar Hirani-directed film "Dunki", took to social media to share a throwback image of himself and Thalaivar seated together at an event. Sir, thank u for inspiring us."
The message was accompanied by a picture of the two iconic actors sitting together at an event.
Shah Rukh Khan also shared his birthday wishes with Rajinikanth, who has been active in Tamil cinema since the 1970s and is known for his iconic films such as "Bhairava Murugan".
Rajinikanth was born on December 12, 1947. Last month, King Khan celebrated his own 59th birthday on November 2. The actor has had a phenomenal career, starting with television serials before transitioning to films.
The Bollywood legend is widely regarded as the face of Indian cinema globally, having received several prestigious awards and honors, including honorary doctorate degrees, a Padma Shri, and the French Legion of Honour.
Shah Rukh Khan's recent film "Dunki", directed by Rajkumar Hirani, received mixed reviews from critics despite showcasing the actor's on-screen charisma. The movie was a commercial success but not as expected, given the massive hype surrounding it due to its association with two prominent Indian filmmakers and actors.
However, Shah Rukh Khan has consistently demonstrated his resilience in the face of adversity and remains one of the most bankable stars in India.
