Shah Rukh Khan Extends Support to PM Modi's Vision for WAVES 2025 Summit

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan expressed his excitement about the upcoming World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025, saying that it will be a celebration of creativity and India's growing prominence in global entertainment. Taking to his social media handle, SRK praised the initiative as an important step towards making India a hub of global content creation.

The PM shared a clip from the summit on his official handle with a caption, "India takes immense pride in the film and entertainment industry, which boosts our economy and enhances our soft power." He also revealed that at the WAVES summit, giants from the media and entertainment industry and people from the creative world will come to India.

Shah Rukh Khan's post read, "It is with great anticipation that I look forward to WAVES - a film and entertainment world summit - to be held in our country itself. An occasion that celebrates our industry and acknowledges the role it plays in the Indian economy as well as its strength as a soft power… and above all, an occasion that champions and fosters creativity."

The PM also expressed his confidence in India's growing content industry, saying that the summit will put the spotlight on India's vast potential. Veteran actors Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt also extended their support to the initiative, with Kumar calling it "a wonderful idea" and Dutt tweeting, "Excited to witness this revolution in the film and media world."

Noted filmmaker and lyricist Prasoon Joshi added that the summit will highlight India's content industry and its vast potential. The WAVES 2025 Summit is scheduled to take place from February 5 to February 9 next year.
