Sebamed Unveils 'Project Skin Deep' Campaign to Reveal Science Behind Healthy Skin

New Delhi: German skincare brand Sebamed has launched a new campaign titled ‘Project Skin Deep,’ aimed at educating consumers about the science behind healthy skin. The initiative focuses on exploring the layers of the skin, showcasing detailed images of its microscopic structure before and after using Sebamed's products.

The campaign, created in partnership with Leo Burnett, spans multiple platforms including digital media and billboards, to engage consumers with a science-driven narrative. According to Karan Goel, marketing head at Sebamed India (USV Pvt. Ltd.), the company aims to empower consumers with the knowledge that long-term skin health is the foundation of lasting beauty.

"We took the bold step of doing an actual biopsy of a skin cell before and after using Sebamed products and then went on to integrate it into the visual narrative of the campaign," said Sachin Kamble, co. chief creative officer at Leo Burnett - South Asia. "Each image is a glimpse into how beautiful, complex yet intriguing each skin cell is and the profound impact of Sebamed."

The 'Project Skin Deep' campaign highlights the role of pH-balanced formulations in maintaining and improving skin health. By presenting this information through visually engaging content, the brand aims to create an authentic connection with its consumers.

"We believe true beauty stems from healthy skin – inside and out," Goel added. "At Sebamed, we're committed to science-backed skincare and informed choices. With 'Project Skin Deep,' we aim to empower our consumers to make better decisions about their skin health."

The campaign is part of Sebamed's efforts to provide its customers with the education they need to achieve radiant and healthy-looking skin. The brand will continue to push boundaries in the industry, prioritizing a science-driven approach to skincare.
