Bhopal, 12 November, 2024 - Candidates from science backgrounds can now breathe a sigh of relief as the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) has made its eligibility criteria open to all, including students of science.

The prestigious Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore), which conducts the IPMAT, has announced that it will consider applications from students who have studied physics, chemistry, or math, as well as those with a background in engineering or computer science. Eligibility Criteria According to the IPMAT guidelines, students from any academic stream (science, commerce, arts) who meet the minimum age and percentage requirements are eligible to apply. To qualify, candidates must:

  • Be between 17 and 20 years of age for general and NC-OBC candidates
  • Be between 16 and 19 years of age for SC/ST/PwD candidates
  • Have passed their Class 10 examination by July 31, 2025
  • Have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 60% (or equivalent CGPA) in both Class 10 and Class 12

Mathematics Requirement While there is no strict requirement to study mathematics in Class 12, having a background in the subject can be beneficial. Two sections of the IPMAT focus on quantitative ability, which involves mathematical concepts.
