Schools Clash in Intellectual Showdown at November Rain 2024

KOTTAYAM: The Saintgits College of Engineering, in collaboration with the Kottayam Round Table #79 and Ladies Circle #48, has brought together school students from across the district for an intellectually charged event that left little room for debate.

The first week of November witnessed a vibrant array of competitions at the college campus as part of "November Rain 2024", a nationwide endeavour to bring out the best in young minds. The showcase included highly anticipated events such as JAM (Just A Minute), Spelling Bee, and an intense Quiz contest that pitted students against one another.

The most coveted spot went to Believers Church Residential School, Thiruvalla's Johan B. Philip, who took home the top prize in the Spelling Bee event in a closely contested race. Meanwhile, Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara's S Nandakishor stood out as a shining star, capturing the top spot in JAM with his unwavering enthusiasm and quick wit.

Another stellar performance was recorded by duo Kiran Thomas Tison and R Nakul from Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Girinagar, who stormed to victory at the Quiz contest. Their sheer knowledge base and synergy proved unbeatable as they dominated the contest.

Apart from these high-profile competitions, "November Rain 2024" provided young participants with a unique platform to gain exposure in various academic and co-curricular challenges while showcasing their talents. Moreover, budding engineers had the opportunity to inspect state-of-the-art facilities such as the 3D Printing Lab, FAB Lab, and other projects like E-Baja and M-Baja.

This event is another testament to Saintgits College of Engineering's commitment to nurturing young minds and providing them with stimulating opportunities for growth.
