Sathyabama Institute Celebrates Mega Convocation with Record-breaking Job Package Offers

Hyderabad, June 14 (Alayaran.com): Thousands of students from the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology marched across the stage to receive their degrees in a grand ceremony held on June 14, 2025. A total of 4,221 undergraduate students, 817 postgraduate students, and 79 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) scholars received their degrees.

Notably, this year's convocation marks a milestone for the institution as numerous students secured dream job offers, exceeding expectations by 40%. The highest package at Sathyabama Institute was remarkably offered by Amazon at an impressive Rs 41.2 lakh per annum (LPA). Similarly, 54 students secured gold medals for their exemplary academic performances.

Data showed that an astonishing 92.74% of the graduates secured employment through campus recruitment, signifying a remarkable success rate in securing jobs. Prominent tech companies, including Amazon, core engineering firms, finance, consulting, analytics, and research giants made significant job offers on campus.

Celebrity guests like filmmaker Atlee Kumar received prestigious honors at the ceremony. In recognition of his outstanding commercial filmmaking skills and grand storytelling, Kumar was presented with an honorary doctorate (Honoris Causa). The event witnessed high attendance levels from key faculty members, with founder chancellor Jeppiaar, chancellor Mariazeena Johnson, president Marie Johnson, and vice presidents Maria Bernadette Arul Selvan, J Arul Selvan, and Maria Catherine Johnson gracing the occasion.

The Institute recently celebrated Excellence Day on April 5 to celebrate its academic excellence. The institution offers various in-demand courses such as Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology (BE/BTech), Master of Business Administration (MBA) in numerous subjects, Master of Science (MSc), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), and Master of Arts (MA).
