Sandpiper Appoints Liz Egginton as Director of Technology Practice in Asia Pacific

Sydney, Australia - The Sandpiper Group, a prominent player in communications, public affairs, and research within the Asia Pacific region, has announced the appointment of Liz Egginton as the Director of its Technology Practice.
Egginton, who will be based in Australia, is tasked with spearheading the growth and strategic development of Sandpiper’s Technology Practice. Her role involves leveraging the firm's comprehensive services such as content strategy, research, government affairs, reputation management, and international media to deliver targeted communication solutions for clients across the region.
With a robust background spanning over 25 years, Egginton most recently served at IBM as a senior communications advisor. There, she crafted and executed integrated communications campaigns that were closely tied to business objectives, enhancing brand trust and boosting revenue growth. Her expertise covers a broad spectrum including enterprise technology, crisis management, executive coaching, and corporate communications.
Before her tenure at IBM, Egginton advised ministers within Australia’s foreign affairs and trade sector and spent considerable time as a journalist, focusing on business and general news.
