Samsung Electronics bagged Four Clio Sports Awards for its Innovative Sports Campaign
Seoul, South Korea - Samsung Electronics has been recognized with four prestigious Clio Sports Awards in various categories, including Branded Entertainment/Content (Film), Digital / Mobile (Experience / Activation), and Direction (Film Craft). The awards honor the best in sports advertising and marketing around the world.
The brand's 2024 sport campaign across multiple categories won a Bronze award in the Branded Entertainment/Content (Film) category. The three-part docu-series, "Ride with Us," celebrates skateboarding, breaking, and surfing communities, highlighting their global and local impact. Produced in partnership with major sports organizations, the series aims to promote open-mindedness and inclusivity.
The campaign also showcased Team Samsung Galaxy athletes, including Paris 2024 surfing silver medalist Jack Robinson and bronze medalist Johanne Defay, street skateboarding silver medalist Jagger Eaton and bronze medalist Rayssa Leal, and park skateboarding silver medalist Sky Brown. The series not only highlighted the athletes' achievements but also the communities' shared values.
Samsung UK secured a Silver award in the Digital / Mobile (Experience / Activation) category for its "Flip Park" program featuring Sky Brown, while Samsung India won two Bronze awards in the Direction (Film Craft) and Editing (Film Craft) categories for their "India Cheers Neeraj" film, starring Olympic medalist javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra.
