Sahiwal Student Talent Shines at Government Graduate College's AI-Powered Science Exhibition

Sahiwal: A Science Exhibition Featuring AI-Based Models and Innovative Projects Attracts Hundreds of Students on Wednesday.

A science exhibition showcasing the innovative projects and ideas of students from public sector colleges in the Sahiwal division attracted around 500 students, including girls mostly, who showcased their projects based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts. The event was organized by Government Graduate College at GDC Sahiwal.

This year's Science Exhibition featured more than 200 AI-based scientific models and projects from public sector colleges including Sargodha's Public Sector Colleges , Malagadha's 90/Mor, Renala Khurd, Kameer Chichawatni Hujra Shah Muqeem and Arifwala. The exhibition aimed to provide students the knowledge of using AI for future scientific purposes.

Director Colleges in Sahiwal division distributed prizes among students as their college won positions such as First, Second, Third and Fourth places.

According to an interview with Dawn, Dr.Mumtaz Principal host said Participation was encouraging from the smaller girls' colleges.

However few suggestions were made for display area , and next time they needed two days instead of one day in which students could spend more time on interacting among each other's ideas.

The projects featured subjects  such as: Climate Change, greenhouse gas hazards solid waste smog countering vehicle pollution carbon emission biochemical ecosystems dialysis apparatus smart garbage disposers vehicles controlled through phone applications rain sensors self-balancing robots car infrared remote control face identification techniques RFID and extraction of essential oils from plant leaves among others.

Dawn contacted Dr. Arshad convenor told that it was the judgement based on idea, content display and technology enhancement apps AI models which were displayed at exhibitions.
