It won’t be an exaggeration to say that the second season of Sacred Games is currently the most anticipated web series on Netflix. The fans of the show can’t wait to know what this grim series has in store for them and the fate of their favourite characters. Recently, a teaser of the series made its way to the social media and it presents a telephonic conversation between Ganesh Gaitonde, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Jojo, played by the stunning Surveen Chawla.

In the video, the two can be seen engaged in a fiery banter as they converse about their lives. In the clip, Gaitonde starts the narration by saying that he only calls two people when he misses Mumbai and then proceeds to call Jojo. She picks the calls and asks his from where did he get her number. He responds to her question by saying he got it from the Prime Minister. She tells him that she doesn’t care. The tone of the entire conversation is bitter-sweet and it is hard to know how things will turn out for the two in the future.

Sacred Games was one of the most viewed and most talked about shows on Netflix India. The series features a stellar ensemble of talents like Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Jitendra Joshi, and  Pankaj Tripathi. The plot of the show revolved around a cop named Sartaj Singh, played by Saif Ali Khan and a gangster called Ganesh Gaitonde, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the city of Mumbai. 

The second season of Sacred Games will arrive on August 15, 2019, and everyone is waiting to know what turn the series will take now.

The show is based on a novel of the same name and the second season has been helmed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan.
