Russians Launch Largest Single Missiles Attack in Months, Killing Eight in Ukrainian City

A massive drone and missile attack by Russian forces on Sunday left eight people dead and dozens injured, according to official reports from Ukraine. The strike targeted a nine-story building in the city of Sumy in northern Ukraine, which is approximately 40 kilometers away from the border with Russia.

The death toll includes two children, as confirmed by Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko. In addition to the fatalities, over 400 people were evacuated from the building due to its structural damage following the attack.

Rescue efforts were ongoing, with teams conducting a thorough search operation across every apartment in the damaged building to identify any remaining occupants who may be trapped or injured.
