RUSSIAN DRONE AND MISSILE ATTACK ON UKRAINE LEAVES EIGHT DEAD AND DOZENS INJURED
MOSCOW, RUSSIA - A massive drone and missile attack by Russian forces on a nine-story building in the city of Sumy, Ukraine has left at least eight people dead and dozens wounded. The attack, which is being described as one of the largest in recent months, also resulted in over 400 evacuations from the building.
According to Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko, two of those killed were children. Rescuers are currently conducting a thorough search of the damaged building to determine if there are any additional victims.
The attack on Sumy come as tensions between Russia and Ukraine continue to escalate. The Russian strike on the building is seen as a significant escalation by Ukrainian officials and has sparked widespread condemnation from international leaders.
