KYIV, UKRAINE - In a devastating strike on Sunday, Russia launched its largest drone and missile attack in recent months, hitting a nine-story building in the city of Sumy in northern Ukraine. The attack resulted in the deaths of eight people and left dozens wounded.
According to Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko, two of the victims were children. Over 400 people were evacuated from the damaged building as rescuers checked every apartment for any remaining survivors. The strike marked a significant escalation in Russia's recent military campaign in Eastern Europe.
