Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's efforts to marginalize the Palestinian cause have been met with failure, as international scrutiny persists and the world's attention remains steadfast in condemnation. Despite this, Israeli leaders continue to make unrealistic promises of "total victory" and military domination, mirroring the disconnection from reality.
In northern Gaza, 55,000 Israeli soldiers failed to subdue the region in several weeks, only for settler leaders to announce plans to build new settlements and resorts within the destroyed territory. Even major powers like Washington are hesitant to endorse Israel's schemes, making annexation increasingly isolated and unwinnable.
A recent article by Israeli historian Ilan Pappe exposed the concept of "Fantasy Israel," a decades-long illusion that has long been crumbling due to Israel's failures on multiple frontlines, including Gaza and South Lebanon.
